"Teens and Technology: What Parents Need to Know" Seminar Is technology helping or hurting our teens? The best answer to this question is likely one that recognizes the potential for both outcomes. Technology can both hurt and help our teens. We know one thing for certain -- technology is not going away. The internet, cell phones, and social media have important implications for adolescent social and emotional development, so parents need to be informed and proactive. This workshop will teach parents how to help their children to stay in control of technology so that technology doesn’t end up controlling them.
